Age Friendly Recognition For Foxrock Village Businesses

The majority of businesses in Foxrock village have successfully achieved
Age-Friendly Business Recognition. This follows a process which involved participating in a workshop, developing four special actions to ensure their business is welcoming to older people, and completing these steps which are reviewed by a ‘secret shopper’.
The businesses will receive their certificates at a special ceremony on 25th November at a presentation by An Cathaoirleach, Cllr. Jim O’Leary and the Chief Executive of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, Frank Curran.
The approved businesses include Brighton Road Bistro, Cassini Boutique, Fagan Motors, Grumps, Hunters Estate Agent, Kerb, Pure Pharmacy, Sherry Fitzgerald, Texaco-Centra, The Gables, The Scarlet Heifer, Thomas’s of Foxrock, and Toner Solicitors.
