WELCOME TO FOXROCK
Foxrock is a leafy suburb in South County Dublin situated between the sea at Dún Laoghaire and the foothills of the Dublin Mountains, approximately 12 km from Dublin city.
- Foxrock Tidy Towns: landscaping and maintenance
- Area Conservation: planning, ACA etc.
- Community: Neighbourhood Watch, family events etc.
- Enterprise: promoting businesses in the village
The board comprises six volunteer directors: John Cody (Chair), Jane Bowes, Sheila Moore, Rowena Quinn, David Spicer and Pat Kane. In addition, Jeannette Mee manages the Neighbourhood Watch Scheme and Denise Kenny steers Foxrock Tidy Towns.
FACE is solely funded by annual subscriptions from residents and businesses together with grants from Dun Laoghaire – Rathdown County Council for environmental projects, community events etc.
The aim of this booklet is to provide information on the role of FACE, particularly for new residents and, very importantly, to encourage new volunteers to come forward to get involved in some of our activities. We need to identify a volunteer representative for every road in the area – see list on Page 2.
